Global inspiration with French flair
Interiors that tell your story.
Welcome to Belle & Cosy, where interiors are more than beautiful—they’re personal. I’m Alexandra Eude, a French interior designer based in Twickenham, drawing on a life lived between Paris, London, and Provence, with chapters in Brazil, the USA, and Finland. Each place has shaped my eye, but it’s your story I’m here to tell.
I help homeowners and busy professionals transform spaces that no longer feel like them—or that never did. Whether you've just moved, are navigating a life shift, or simply want to fall back in love with your home, I create interiors that reflect who you are and support how you live.
For commercial clients, I bring 30 years of senior marketing expertise to the table. That means I don’t just design beautiful spaces—I craft environments that embody your brand, speak to your customers, and support your business goals. When needed, I can even build your full brand and marketing strategy from the ground up.
My style? Think warm, layered, and eclectic. I blend rich colours —whether soft and muted or deep and vibrant—and textures with a cosmopolitan elegance, harmonising diverse influences to create interiors that feel soulful. And as a mother of four, I also know beauty must meet function—real homes need to work, not just wow. My designs are thus practical and my interiors lived-in.
Most importantly, at Belle & Cosy, design is never just decoration. It’s a translation—of your life, your values, your ambitions. Let’s bring your story to life, one room at a time.

What a designer brings
Beauty, function, peace of mind
Behind every beautifully curated space is a world of thoughtful planning, technical know-how, and time-consuming decisions. From floorplans to finishes, furniture to flow, a designer streamlines the process, avoids costly mistakes, and ensures every detail works together seamlessly. It’s not just about making things look good—it’s about making them feel right.

Expertise and vision
As an interior designer, I bring specialised skills in space planning, colour theory, and design trends. I don’t just decorate; I solve functional and aesthetic challenges, creating spaces that reflect your personality while maximising utility.

Time and stress saved
Designing a space involves countless decisions—furniture, fabrics, layouts, materials, and contractors. This process is often overwhelming and time consuming. As a designer, I take the burden off your shoulders, managing these tasks efficiently and avoiding costly mistakes.

Access to resources and discounts
As a professional, I have access to exclusive resources, materials, and trade discounts unavailable to the general public. I also have a network of trusted architects, cabinet makers, builders, and more, which I can recommend.

What can an interior designer help me with?
Many people still associate interior design only with “decoration.” There is so much more we can help with: space layout and room flow, colour choices, storage optimisations, among many things.
-
Can an interior designer help me with space layout and room flow?
-
Yes — one of the most valuable aspects of hiring an interior designer is getting expert support on how to optimise the layout of your rooms. I help you rethink the way you use your space, from the positioning of furniture to creating better flow between rooms, all while reflecting how you live. Especially in London homes, where space is at a premium, clever layouts make a world of difference.
-
I haven’t chosen my colours yet — can you help with colour schemes?
-
Absolutely! Helping clients choose colour palettes is one of my favourite parts of the process. Whether you're after bold tones, soft neutrals or something eclectic, I guide you through choices that suit your personality, lighting, and the mood you want to create. Colour is never just aesthetic — it’s emotional and deeply personal.
-
What kind of projects do you take on as an interior designer?
-
I work on a variety of projects — from single-room transformations to whole-house renovations, and even boutique commercial spaces like restaurants or guesthouses. Whether it's a cosy London flat, a period home in need of love, or a contemporary space that needs warmth and personality, I tailor my work to your needs and your story.
-
Can you help if I’ve already bought furniture or have pieces I want to keep?
-
Yes! I love working with what you already own — whether it’s heirlooms, favourite pieces or recent purchases. We build around them to create a space that feels cohesive and intentional. Design is not about throwing everything out — it's about layering the old with the new to create something truly unique.
-
Do you offer help with storage and space-saving solutions?
-
Definitely. Small spaces require smart thinking. I help design custom or off-the-shelf storage solutions that blend seamlessly into your space — from hidden compartments to beautiful, functional shelving. The aim is to create beauty and order without clutter.
-
Can you design bespoke furniture, built-in storage, or even architecture pieces such as staircases?
-
Yes, I design custom solutions that are both functional and beautiful — from made-to-measure bookshelves and wardrobes to media units and clever under-stair storage. I can also conceive bespoke staircase designs that become a central architectural feature in your home. I collaborate with skilled joiners and metal or wood specialists to bring these ideas to life with precision and style. Every element is tailored to your space and the way you live.
-
I just moved into a new home — can you help me get started with decorating?
-
Yes, and congratulations on your new home! I can help you from day one, even if you’re starting with bare walls. From colour choices and furniture planning to art, lighting and textiles, we create a cohesive design plan that reflects your taste and lifestyle.
-
I have a limited budget — can I still work with an interior designer?
-
Yes, I offer flexible design packages to suit different budgets. Whether you want full project support or simply a design consultation to get you started, there’s always a way to make your space feel beautiful without overspending. Good design is not about how much you spend — it’s about making thoughtful, inspired choices.
-
Can you help me source furniture, lighting and accessories?
-
Of course. I have access to a wide network of suppliers — from well-known brands to hidden gems — and can help you select and source pieces that fit your style and budget. I often mix high-street, vintage and bespoke items to create a layered, curated feel.
-
What is your interior design style?
-
My style blends French flair with global inspiration, and is always tailored to my clients. I love colour, texture, and spaces that feel lived-in and personal. Think cosmopolitan warmth — where a handwoven rug from your travels might sit beside a modern sofa or a vintage cabinet. It’s less about trends and more about your story.
-
Can you help with renovations or work alongside builders and architects?
-
Yes — I regularly collaborate with contractors, architects and tradespeople to bring the design vision to life. Whether you're redoing a bathroom, extending a kitchen or reconfiguring your space, I can help coordinate the aesthetic and ensure all decisions serve the final look and feel.
-
Can you help with removing old furniture?
-
Yes — this is one of the many details I take care of so your project runs smoothly. If you need to make space, I can recommend local charities that will gladly take your old furniture and give it a second life.
-
Can you help with making sure the new furniture will fit through the door?
-
Yes — I take precise measurements of your doorways, stairwells, or windows, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure your new pieces will fit — and be delivered without stress. My job is to handle the logistics so you don’t have to, leaving you free to focus on more exciting things — like planning your next weekend in Portugal!
-
Do you also offer interior design services for commercial spaces like shops or restaurants?
-
Yes, I design commercial spaces with as much care and creativity as residential ones. From boutique shops to restaurants and wellness spaces, I create interiors that reflect your brand and enhance the customer experience. My background in marketing gives me a unique perspective — I think not only about aesthetics but about how your space communicates, flows, and supports your business goals. I can also support with signage, branding elements and visual storytelling to create a cohesive, memorable environment.
