This summer house by the sea in Normandy was built in the 70s and presented the typical decor of that time.

The owners did not want to spend a fortune on its renovation, as it was their secondary home. However, they wanted to make it more cosy and current for their children and grand-children to enjoy more often. With some paint decoration, including on the existing furniture, some simple accessories themed around the sea, and some touches of colours, this home has now a more contemporary look.

Belle & Cosy revisited the space organisation and decoration of the living room and the kitchen. The owners were so inspired by our work that they have since painted other rooms of the house…
